Screenprinting is only occasionally used. The improved quality and longevity of digital prints and extremely low costing compared to screenprinting, has all but driven the screenprinting method into extinction.
Screenprinting is a high labour and cost intensive printing method, and it offers accordingly a very high quality and fully opaque coating. Screen printing is done directly on to the background, allowing for contour free, crisp imaging.
We offer screen printing, not only on glass but on all flat materials like aluminium, stainless steel or wood. We also use screen printing for textiles, for example, for printing sport outfits, banners and flags.
Screen printing is best suited for content that changes rarely. Once printed, the removal of the printing is possible but not very easily. Most times, the cost of cleansing is higher than the manufacturing of a new carrier.
